Dennis Eagle Limited are looking for Fabrication apprentice to complete a Level 3 metal fabricator apprenticeship and join their team. The candidate will engage in formal training and education over a defined period and return to the workplace to shadow and learn from mentors & colleagues.
Role & responsibilities:
- Work in a safe and constructive manner at all times, ensuring all company policies are adhered to
- Complete exams and assignments in the allotted timescales and to a high standard of quality
- Complete the training plan and request support if necessary from line manager, mentor, colleague or tutor in a timely fashion
- Focus on self-development and learning. Be pro-active in seeking out development opportunities both in personal time and during work / training time
- Maintain full attendance in order to complete all aspects of the defined training plan. Be punctual to all lessons and work days
- Ensure a positive and attentive approach to all lessons and work days
- Maintain log books and all paperwork as required by the college or employer
Skills required:
- Able to demonstrate hand skill dexterity through simple practical tests
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Maintain accurate and timely records of your training and development activities
- Strive to achieve high-quality results in all exams, assignments, and practical tasks
Personal qualities the candidate must have:
- Interested in working in an engineering environment
- Knowledge of Terberg Matec UK and what we do
- Has the drive to complete tasks to the required deadlines

Things to consider:
During the first year you will be required to attend the University of Sheffield’s AMRC Training Centre based in Catcliffe, Sheffield, for an initial block of full-time study. One Friday per month you will return to your workplace. After the initial block training you will attend the AMRC Training Centre for one day a week to undertake the knowledge study. The remaining four days will be spent in company learning on the job.
Unless exemptions apply, year one apprentices are required to live full time in Sheffield for 24 weeks in university accommodation so that they can attend the University of Sheffield AMRC Training Centre in Sheffield.
Future programme years apprentices are required to continue attending the University of Sheffield AMRC Training Centre in Sheffield, for example, one day per month which will require travel and overnight hotel accommodation.

You will need both of the following:
- GCSE English language C or 4 or above
- GCSE Maths C or 4 or above.
Applicants are also required to successfully complete a series of assessments at the University of Sheffield’s AMRC Training Centre, as well as an employer recruitment and selection process to secure a place on an apprenticeship programme.
