Its always an exciting time at the AMRC Training Centre when a new cohort of apprentices starts.

This month 14 apprentices joined the ranks on either machining or maintenance pathways. They will be at the Centre for between 6 to 12 months and will start with the basics, including health & safety, personal learning & thinking, engineering principles and so on.

Mick Fairman, trainer at the Centre said “Im impressed so far by the standard and calibre of the new apprentices. They are knuckling down and taking this opportunity seriously. Weve got some good talent and I hope they keep it up”.
